In addition, the company generates and sells power to the Uttar Pradesh state grid. It serves oil companies, industrial customers, and liquor companies; institutional buyers, including food, beverages manufacturers, dairy processing, bakery, biscuits, sweets, and supermarkets; and industrial units. The company was formerly known as Bajaj Hindusthan Limited and changed its name to Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited in January 2015. Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited, was incorporated in 1931 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.
